The daughter of Jupiter and Latona, and twin sister of Apollo, Diana is most often described as Goddess of the Hunt, though she also presided over the woods, children, fertility, chastity, the moon and wild animals.
Dimensions (cm): Diameter 27.5, Depth 9 (at centre).
To the rear, hand-initialled and stamped with the Alexander Griffin maker's mark and fitted with a brass 'D ring' for wall hanging from a single screw / nail / hook.
