French Neoclassical Corbel

Plaster cast of a French Neoclassical corbel.

Fine sculptural and architectural details, focused around the face of a beautiful Classical maiden, possibly Flora, the Roman Goddess of spring and fertility. Good scale.

Dimensions (cm): 60cm tall, 25cm width (at top),

16cm depth (at top).

To the rear, hand-initialled and stamped with the Alexander Griffin maker's mark, and fitted with a brass-wrapped steel-core wire loop for wall hanging over a single screw / nail / hook.
