Plaster cast of a bas-relief Classical roundel showing a beautiful Greco-Roman maiden, modelled in profile.

Cast from a hand-carved eighteenth century roundel in marble, the gentle veining of which can be seen in the plaster surround.

Dimensions (cm): Diameter 45, Depth 6 (at centre).

To the rear, hand-initialled and stamped with the Alexander Griffin maker's mark and fitted with a brass 'D ring' for wall hanging from a single screw / nail / hook.
