This roundel can be seen in the Wallace Collection in London, where it appears as applied decoration on the c.1785 cabinets attributed to Adam Weisweiler in the East Gallery and the Front State Room.
Dimensions (cm): Diameter 28.5, Depth 1.5.
To the rear, hand-initialled and stamped with the Alexander Griffin maker's mark, and fitted with a brass 'D ring' for wall-hanging from a single nail / screw / hook.
